Sophie Hall - Director

This is Sophie’s fourth production with ITR, and her first as Director.
She has had a variety of experiences, both on stage and behind the scenes, including acting, singing, stage managing, producing and assistant producing. Past shows include “Perfect Wedding” & “Office Hours” for ITR, “Anne of Green Gables”, “Brigadoon”, “Bye Bye Birdie”, “Li’l Abner”, “The Music Man”, “Oliver”,  and “Hello Dolly” for the Greely Players, “Gigi” for OLT,  “Opening Night” and “Maggie’s Getting Married” for RAPA. Sophie would like to thank her family for their support, and Gord, the great teacher. “This cast and crew has been wonderful to work with, and I could not have asked for a better experience for my first time at bat.”

Janice Jenness - Joanna Markham

This is Janice’s sixth production with ITR. She was last seen as Daphne in “Perfect Wedding” and Charlotte Hay in “Moon over Buffalo”.  Previous to that she was in “Caught in the Net”, “It Runs in the Family” and “Lend me a Tenor”.  She is also a member of Greely Players and has been involved on stage in their productions of “Annie Warbucks”, “Hello Dolly”,  “Oliver”, “Bye Bye Birdie”, “Music Man” and their Fall Cabarets.  She would like to thank her fellow cast and crew for all the laughs and for making this yet another great experience but mostly to her husband Rob and children Catherine, Christina and Ryan for all their love and support.

Gord Hawkes - Phillip Markham

This is .... hey, Deb how many ITR shows have I been in? Too many she says! As many as I've been in they've all been a blast and this one is no exception. What with a great cast and crew we've had many laughs and we hope you will enjoy it as much as we have.

Rick Ventrella - Alistair

Rick has been a member of the Dundas Players group for the past three years. This is his first attempt at spreading his wings and being a part of another group. This is a big role and he hopes you split a gut laughing.

Matt Easterbrook - Henry Lodge

This production of Move Over Mrs. Markham marks the second time that Matt has been involved with this show; he previously played Alistair in RAPA's 2004 production. He is happy to be back on the ITR stage and proud to be acting alongside a wonderful bunch of professionals (unpaid, although donations are accepted!).

Janice Marks - Linda Lodge

After a five year hiatus Janice is back with ITR and loving it. Some of her previous shows include "Blithe Spirit", "Exit Who", "The Odd Couple" (Female Version) and "Run for Your Wife". Janice would like to thank her family and friends for their support during the crazy rehearsal schedule, the cast and crew for great laughs and good times, and Lily Lexington for her inspiration!

Glenna Walkden - Olive Harriet Smythe

Glenna is pleased to be playing at ITR once again. Her "home" theatre is Dundas County Players where her last play was as Veta Louise Simmons in Harvey. Glenna's real job is in the travel business and when hockey season is finished she is planning a trip to Kandahar.

Michelle Stewart - Sylvie Hauser

I'm thrilled to make my first appearance with ITR in such a comedic and enjoyable production. After doing "Hello Dolly!" and "Annie Warbucks" with Greely Players, along with several school plays at St Mark High School, it's rewarding to perform with a new group of people. Having been an audience member and a part of the backstage crew with ITR for several years, it's wonderful to finally join such a crazy cast on-stage. Everyone has made my ITR debut fantastic. I'd like to thank my mom - who has appeared in three ITR productions herself - my dad, and stepdad Don for all their support!

Katrina Bussey - Miss Wilkinson

This is Katrina's third appearance with ITR. Last year she was in Perfect Wedding and Whose Under Where? "With such a talented cast and supportive community how could I stay away? Congratulations Sophie for directing a funny show. I hope you all enjoy!"

Whitney Quail - Walter Pangbourne

Normally Whitney writes his own bio but this unnamed writer is doing it instead. This is Whit's umpteenth performance with ITR and with those many under his belt that makes him one of the longest performing actors in the history of ITR. We were very lucky to get him on stage for this production because this once eligible bachelor will be getting married this year - sorry ladies! We wish him and Mona every happiness and as they say in the theatre "break-a-leg" kids!
